About us

Established in 1997, VEDA Institute of Information Technology (VEDA IIT) is an institute of excellence having achieved a unique amalgamation of industry and academia. It is committed to the development of well-structured, industry driven academic programs that bridge the gap between students and employers, benefiting both of them tremendously. VEDA does this by providing pre-graduation opportunities for students to work in established industry environments. VEDA's e-learning modules give both students and working professionals a great flexible way to learn very rigorously researched and lucidly written course material.

In a pioneering bid to bring together industry, Universities and academia, VEDA IIT, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), and a consortium of VLSI companies consisting of ATI Technologies India and GD Microsystems. Under this MOU, VEDA offers an on-campus M.S. Program in VLSI Engineering. VEDA also conducts several diploma programs and corporate training programs.

All VEDA programs have been rated very highly by student as well as corporate communities.

VEDA's e-learning programs have been instituted so that the experience gained through their on-campus programs over the last several years can be extended to benefit a wide range of engineering students and professionals interested in pursuing their career objectives in this domain.

VEDA's vision is to become an “Internationally Recognized” technology resource composed of strong academia and industry experts in VLSI and Embedded design.
